Ellicottville Rotary Club President John Weismantel presents $500 donation to Colleen and Dave Blanchard to support the local Meals on Wheels program.
The Rotary Club of Ellicottville has again responded to the local needs of the community. In support of health and nutrition, the Rotary club donated $500.00 to the Cattaraugus County Dept. of Aging to support the local Meals on Wheels program.
The Meals on Wheels program has seen a significant increase in requests due to the Covid-19 crisis. According to Colleen Blanchard “Congregate nutrition sites throughout the county have been closed causing an influx in requests for meal and grocery delivery. We reached out to the Rotary Club and they again stepped up to support the community.”
