“Bob McCarthy’s” Irish Christmas –2021 – Goes Virtual Only

A tradition around the holiday season is “Bob McCarthy’s” Irish Christmas”, sponsored by the Rotary Club of
Ellicottville. In our 16 th year we had hoped to go back to a live event with the help of EBC. However, in light of the
recent surge of the pandemic we must move to a “virtual only auction” like last year, so we are cancelling the
live event at EBC!
A Facebook Live broadcast of the On-Line auction at brookslefeberauctions.com. will replace the live event. This was
a ton of fun last year and we have made some changes to improve the experience. Starting this week, you can view the
auction items at Brooks’ website and bid on them now or at the on-line auction December 17 th starting at 7:00 PM.
We continue the Bob’s tradition by auctioning McCarthy and McCarthy like unique pieces paired with fabulous baked
goods from local donors. The more than 20 auction pieces will be on display at participating restaurants and businesses
in the Village.
Bidding and winning an item will be simple
1. View and bid on each item on display at participating business using the the QR Code
2. You can view and bid on all auction items on-line here: brookslefeberauctions.com
3. Join FB Live and Bid at the brookslefeberauctions.com on Friday December 17 th at 7:00 PM.
Remember each unique hand-crafted item is paired with a fabulous dessert from a local baker, just as Bob
imagined. Of course, the actual dessert will not be on display as it will be baked fresh for the Dec 17 th auction.

Join us Friday Dec. 17th at 7pm  for our Facebook LIVE of Bob McCarthy’s Irish Christmas.
To join the FB live go to the Rotary Club of Ellicottville’s page at:
https://www.facebook.com/evillerotary and the live video stream will pop up as soon as it is started.

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR 2021.

The Rotary Club of Ellicottville has decided to cancel this year’s Kids Halloween Party.  In the past, the Rotary Foundation for Youth has sponsored a community Halloween party for Ellicottville area children to provide a fun and safe environment to celebrate.  This year the party has been canceled due to health concerns regarding Covid-19.

The Rotary Club of Ellicottville would like to thank the student volunteers and friends of Rotary for helping in previous years.

The Rotary Club of Ellicottville looks forward to hosting family friendly events in the future
